Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands attract tourists every year as one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean. Although the islands are often seen as a party destination, travellers are bewildered also by the incredible coves, colourful sunsets and natural landscapes. The island offers a relaxing atmosphere as well as a 24/7 nightlife scene.

During your holiday In the Balearic Islands, you can wander through the streets of fishing villages, discover outstanding natural landscapes or enjoy numerous water sports. Minorca and Formentera are heavenly and tranquil. Whereas, Majorca and Ibiza are the two largest islands hosting many summer parties. Majorca also includes the capital, Palma.

Ibiza is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its rich biodiversity and cultural attractions, which include the Phoenician archaeological site of Sa Caleta, the necropolis of Puig des Molins and the historic centre of Eivissa.

Best Times to Visit The Balearic Islands

The best time to visit the Balearic Islands is when there’s lots of sunshine in the summer from June to September. The average temperature is around 32°C, which is ideal to relax on the beach with a cocktail in one hand, and a book on the other.
